Yes. It is a hyperrealist painting made by hand. Get close and the brushwork shows: the fur is built from individual strokes.
Can I buy the original?
No. The original was a four-by-four-foot piece, and it sold for $5,000. You can own the image as a canvas print or a download, or commission an original of your own, from $2,500.
How much is a commission?
Commissions start at $2,500 and are quoted per piece. For anything under that, the download bundle and the canvas prints are the way to own the work.
